Now that the election is over, it’s time to reflect on just how much of a shitstorm he is inheriting. Back in 2006 when speculation was rising that Obama might be weighing a Presidential run, I was hoping he wouldn’t. Not because I didn’t think he was ready but because disarray this country (and the world as a whole) are in after 8 years of George W. Bush. To be fair to G. W., not everything that has gone wrong in the world is his fault, however, he hasn’t really appeared as a calming leader figure.
