I stopped watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann shortly after he announced sometime during the 2008 election that he doesn’t vote. He reason, to remain objective, was not only bullshit, but it also represented the increasing inflation of his ego ever since his Special Comments destroying the Bush Administration really started to resonate with a larger audience. Now, they aren’t even special any more. Hell, at one point he was doing a “Special” comment every day. So I’ve pretty much stopped watching him because I can only take so much bias “news reporting.” That said, every now and then I do see a clip from a comment he does that reminds me why I used to like him so much during the waning years of the Bush Administration. His victims this time? Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh for their disgusting comments regarding the earthquake in Haiti.
A minute and forty eight seconds of destruction. I’m not going to link to the comments by the jackasses, I’m pretty sure by now you’ve already heard them. If not, you can find them easily online. The truth is, it’s people like Limbaugh and Robertson that quite frankly, when they find themselves in need of humanity, I don’t care if they get it because I don’t view them as human. Just absurd.

Senate Takes Out Abortion Amendments in Health Care Bill
I never really understood the abortion debate. Its like gay marriage to me. If you don’t want to get one, don’t. I also hate the “I
don’t want my tax dollars going to pay for abortions” argument either. It’s a lazy and stupid argument. Not only do our tax dollars go to far worse things than abortion but it assumes that women are only getting abortions as some form of birth control which is a huge miscarriage of justice. This isn’t like getting breast implants or a cosmetic nose job. I think the biggest problem with abortion is that people attribute it to young black girls using it as birth control. Senators pulling out healthy babies talking about “Think about Jr. here. He could have been aborted”. This is a bunch of male bovine fecal matter. For most women that get an abortion, it is a heart wrenching emotional decision that they make. Its easy, especially for these republican male senators, to sit back and claim that there are other options out there when they themselves have never had to deal with it (Or even worse, when they themselves have had their mistresses get abortions). As an adopted child I consider the fact that I was adopted a month after I was born as a sign that I dodged a bullet. I know foster children, it can be a horrible experience. Everyone talks about adopting but very rarely do they (unless they can’t have kids of their own). Lets also not forget about those that get abortions due to health risks (to themselves) or diseases and disfigurements the child will have to grow up with. Its not something to be taken lightly. Instead of banning abortion, how about we allow it and then just increase education awareness so that more women don’t have to consider it and then mental health specialists for those that do so they can deal with the trauma of the situation. Then again…that would be too much like right.
I also find it very hypocritical for these male senators to claim that woman can’t be trusted with the option of abortion but then balk at the idea of gun regulation. Great. Women can’t be trusted to make a very personal decision involving their own bodies but men can be trusted to own assault rifles with little regulation. Brilliant.
The ‘P’ Stands for Publicity
So in a “kinda sorta” retraction of my post on Pleasure P’s alleged pedophilia, Pleasure P has come out and strongly denied that the allegations are true. He put out the following statement and has been making the rounds on morning radio shows:
“All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries. I have never met or known anyone by the name of “AGoldstein” or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation.”
Now, I still have my doubts. I’m sorry but that’s how I am. I normally won’t post things unless I have legitimate facts but when it comes to molesting children, I have a “Guilty until proven innocent” policy. I admit, that’s wrong and bias but hell, its kids man…someone has to care. That said, I don’t know what all the fuss is really about if it is a “malicious attack” on his character. First off, I don’t see Marcus Cooper as someone that important to go through all this trouble. Most people don’t know who he is. To be honest, these allegations have actually made people actually Google this guy’s name. Secondly, its not like these allegations are gonna hurt him. Chris Brown is a felon who put a female superstar in the hospital with serious injuries to her face and women still flock to get his CD and defend him. R. Kelly was caught ON TAPE fucking a 14 year old as well as having a history of being a pedophile and his fan base is just as strong. I hate to say it, because it is truly sad, but these allegations will probably only give this dude more publicity than he ever had before. So relax Marcus Cooper, you’ll be find. You can go back to raping and molesting our eardrums with your incessant crooning on the radio stations.
Gaterade and Tiger Woods
Okay, the media being what it is has once again missed a key point in a story. Everyone is saying that Tiger Woods’ sponsors are going to leave him. They point to Gaterade dropping Tiger Focus as the first sign. *Sigh* No, this is false. Gaterade was dropping Tiger Focus before the incident at Tiger’s house. They issued a statement on November 25th, two days before Tiger’s accident. Not only that but sales volume of Tiger Focus was down 34 percent this year THROUGH October. Again, this was a business move not one because of Woods’ infidelity. Which leads me to a point Donnie Duetsch was trying to make on Morning Joe this morning but the women didn’t want to hear it. Most of Tiger’s sports sponsors (i.e. Gaterade, Nike, etc.) aren’t going to drop him. As a matter of fact, his sales and popularity will probably go up. Women don’t want to hear this but it’s a sad reality but it’s a reality none the less. Men don’t care that Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. Hell, look at past athletes and their wrongs. Michael Vick jersey sales went through the roof when he was arrested for being “Ookie”. Michael Jordan was the father of Nike/Gaterade promotion and Tiger Woods is basically his protégé. Like endorsement father like endorsement son. Every picture of Jordan out in public you see him with a different white chick and this is even before he got divorced. No one was talking about “Maybe Nike will drop him.” The most that might happen with Tiger is he might, MIGHT, get the Kobe Bryant treatment. That means his sponsors will stop showing his ads in primetime and then when enough time comes passes, bring him back like nothing happened. Two months after Kobe was acquitted (of RAPE mind you) and before he bought his wife that $4 million ring, he was back to dunking on 12 foot rims and jumping over moving cars. Let’s get real folks. Tiger isn’t gonna to lose any real money from endorsements off of being a cheating man whore. It just won’t happen.
Zombies Not Frankenstien
The article has it wrong. I’m not too worried about Frankenstein being brought to life. Remember, though disfigured, Frankenstein was a kind monster. Reanimating dead organs however, sounds a lot like what happens when zombies are created. You all keep calling me crazy for talking about the Zombie Apocalypse but between swine flu and now these meddling scientist, does it really seem that far fetched?
Toy Recalled Over Claims It Says “Pedophile”
Two points here. First, this is what happens when you outsource the voice to sing a Christmas song to a communist nation. And two, ‘Pedophile’ and ‘Jingle Bell’ don’t even sound close and the woman complaining about this needs her ears checked.
Rush Limbaugh Talks About Being Black…From the Fat White Guy Perspective
Oh Rush Limbaugh. Attention whoring again I see. I’d tell Limbaugh to shut the fuck up but I know he gets an orgasm off of people telling him he’s an idiot so I’m gonna do the reverse. Hey Rush, keep up the good work fella *thumbs up*. You’re doing me a service by
Woman Arrested For Making Moonshine In Her DayCare
I can’t help but think that out of all the crimes out there, the Charlotte people found it necessary to run a sting operation on a 57 year old woman making moonshine in her house. When I first read the headline, I thought maybe this woman was running a sweatshop and she was forcing the day care kids to make the potent liquor but that’s not the case. Sorry, but making and selling your own liquor shouldn’t be a crime and it damn sure doesn’t warrant an undercover sting operation.

Rush Limbaugh is the Tila Tequila of political commentary. Tequila recently “went in” on Rihanna because Rihanna had the audacity to mention Tila’s name for 20 seconds on a radio show. So Tila’s response was to make up a ludicrous and completely unfounded claim that Rihanna has herpes. No proof. None what’s so ever. Clearly Tila Tequila only did this for publicity because she’s a habitual attention whore junkie needing a fix. That’s basically Rush Limbaugh’s addiction too (well, besides his addiction to prescription drugs). Just like Tila Tequila’s unfounded claims, Limbaugh hopes that you fall for the shock value and not what he’s actually saying. See, it just doesn’t make any sense. Just take this piece:
Who are we targeting in health care? Old people. Rationing the care of old people…
And then it hit me….What’s the first thing Mao se Tung did? What was the cultural revolution? He took out the educated people. He took out people who had a cultural, historical memory of China’s past.
Educated people? Rush Limbaugh, the guy who failed out of college (even failing ballroom dancing) and who calls educated people like Obama elitist, talking about educated people? That’s like seeing Lil Wayne in a BET “Wrap It Up” commercial. Look, Rush, if Obama is targeting educated people, you can relax…you’re in no danger. Also, if Obama really wanted to target old people he wouldn’t do it with health care. He’d put child proof locks on prune juice and force Denny’s to open at 11 am.

Do you know how I know our society is doomed? William Shatner still has a career. Not only does he still have a career but apparently he’s asking tough questions on serious issues that even journalists don’t ask. Below is a clip form Shatner’s show where he interviews Rush Limbaugh about health care.
Seriously, I want to give Rush the benefit of the doubt and believe that everything he says that sounds so retarded is just a ploy to keep bringing him new listeners…however, he seemed way took quick to admit that health care is only for those with money. “If you have money you’re gonna get a house on the beach. If you don’t have money you’re gonna live in a bungalow somewhere.” And then follows up with “What’s the difference” between a house and health care. Really Rush? Even Shatner seemed shocked that Rush could say something so stupid. If you have a bungalow somewhere, you still can live. Without proper health care…people die. And if only those with money have access to health care, you’ve essentially created a program where you let the poor die.
Honestly, I’m intrigued. First by the fact that Shatner has a show and second that Rush Limbaugh once again sounds this stupid. I need to see this whole interview.

First things first, we’re back on iTunes. To subscribe all you have to do is search for “Insanity Check” in the iTunes store or click this link to subscribe.
Kriss & Dylan break down male-female relations. The topic of men with female friends popped up on Twitter and so Kriss & Dylan once again explain it: Most of a guy’s female friends are women he would sleep with if given the opportunity. Men aren’t as stupid as we play. Kriss & Dylan then talk about Marc Lamont Hill being fired by Fox News and the brilliant game he and Michael Eric Dyson have run on people. Gotta respect the hustle. Al Sharpton & Rush Limbaugh need couples counseling and the CNN Fail that was Balloon Boy.

Now that we have that out of the way, Nola Darling is in the studio. First up, Kriss and Nola talk about the Mike Tyson interview. It was scary to some and hard to watch for others. The topic then shifts to HBCUs and the controversial new “Ms. Hampton”. Nola has some particular feelings about HBCUs. After a mini-rant from Kriss about his fellow black co-workers, the topic shifts to Morehouse College’s restatement of their dress code. Kriss and Nola go back and forth over the merits of the dress code. Basically its a fight between personal freedom and express and tradition and what it means to be a man. The show ends with a discussion (or argument) aboutAl Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Rush Limbaugh.

Kriss & Dylan are in the studio with special guest “The Black Becky”. The show starts off grimy off the top. From having sex with old men to women on women to discussions about how to save face as a jumpoff. We then go to politics and whether or not racism is the real problem. Also, Kriss points out some interesting facts about some of the loudest voices on the conservative side. The show ends with a story about some really stupid mental health officials in Washington State.
There’s a problem with getting the show on iTunes for new subscribers.
