Michael Jackson’s Death a Homicide or Just the Result of Bad Decisions?

Posted on 25 August 2009 by Kriss

Michael Jackson InvestigationLOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County coroner’s finding that the death of Michael Jackson was a homicide could mean criminal charges for his doctor, who told investigators that he administered a mix of powerful drugs to treat the pop star’s insomnia hours before his death.

The homicide ruling was based on forensic tests that found the anesthetic propofol combined with at least two sedatives to kill Jackson, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Monday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.

While the finding does not necessarily mean a crime was committed, it means more likely that criminal charges will be filed against Dr. Conrad Murray, the Las Vegas cardiologist who was caring for Jackson when he died June 25 in a rented Los Angeles mansion. (Source)

Why can’t people let Michael Jackson rest in peace?  His death wasn’t a homicide.  If anything, it was a suicide.  That’s what they normally rule for people that die of overdoses of drugs.  If anything, Dr. Conrad Murray is guilty of malpractice, not murder.  If Michael Jackson was paying me $150,000 a month, and told me to give him more drugs, knowing the risks…I might give them to him as well.  Sure, that’s not ethical and I think the doctor should definitely have his license snatched, but hearing people claim he murdered Jackson is ludicrous to me.

If they’re going to charge Dr. Conrad Murray, then they should also charge Joe Jackson and the rest of the Jackson family, Jackson’s managers, his nanny, his “close friends”, his fans and anyone else that watched as he spiraled downward towards the frail man he died as.  You can’t tell me these people didn’t know he was abusing drugs.  You can’t tell me it didn’t cross any of their minds that what he was doing could end up killing him.  Yet they didn’t say anything.  But now, in death…everyone is concerned.  Please.  Jackson’s death, like any other celebrity overdose deaths, is tragic…but its also an example of what happens when people (family, friends and fans) continually take and take and take from an entertainer and don’t give anything back.

Fox & Friends Host: Americans Keep Marrying Other Species

Posted on 09 July 2009 by Kriss

fox-and-friends-douchebaggerySeriously, what would we do without Fox & Friends?  As much as I say I hate Fox News and that their hosts have a combined IQ of -100, I have to admit, they are a source of constant entertainment.  Just yesterday alone, I saw 3 – 4 Fox News clips on Youtube that were absolutely hysterical.  The first involved Rep. Peter King doubling down on his previous Michael Jackson rant by sticking to it on the O’Reilly factor.  Now while I too, wasn’t a fan of the over-the-top media coverage,  King goes above and beyond the call of duty for your typical moron.  Michael Jackson wasn’t a pedophile sir.  He was weird as a motherfucker, regressed to a child-like state, but he wasn’t a pedophile.  Not only was he acquited but there was never any hard evidence that he was fucking little boys.  Now R. Kelly on the other hand…now that is a pedophile that got away with some shit.  There’s a difference.  But I’m not really surprised that O’Reilly let King get away with saying stupid shit.  O’Reilly’s been so busy shoving his feet into his own mouth, he literally doesn’t have a leg to stand on with challenging someone else.  Seriously, you gotta love it when someone who claims to be so “Fair and Balance” and operates in a “No Spend Zone” says stupid shit like:

“Why are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton making this a racial deal? Jackson bleached his own skin. And then chose white men to provide existence for his in vitro children. Give me a break with all this.”

and

“If he’s such a black American icon, why did he have his kids with white men!?”

Someone ask Bill O’Reilly if Angelina Jolie and Madonna are such White Icons…why they have children by black men….I’m just saying….

Anyway…in addition to those funny outbursts, here’s one from Fox & Friends that’s just bizarre to say the least. I think Brian is channeling his inner-Hitler with this one.  Damn “cross-breeding”. smh…

IC 95: What’s Really Important?

Posted on 08 July 2009 by Kriss

Kriss and Ryce talk about the Michael Jackson Memorial. Kriss has been going hard all week about people’s reactions to MJ’s death and the discussion between him and Ryce covers opinions from both sides. Other topics covered include the President’s poll numbers being down in Ohio, claims that the Stimulus package didn’t do enough and that we need another one and some disturbing news out of Pakistan about kids being sold and bought to be used as suicide bombers.

Michael Jackson Resolution Faces GOP Opposition

Posted on 08 July 2009 by Kriss

Michael JacksonWASHINGTON – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee may have trouble keeping the promise she made at Michael Jackson’s public memorial for a House resolution that “forever” honors the late pop star.

Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat, took the stage Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and hoisted a framed copy of the resolution, embossed with a gold seal. The measure will be debated on the House floor, she said.

For that framed, embossed resolution to be completely legit, it must first get past some opposition.

Rep. Peter King, a New York Republican who called Jackson a “pervert, child molester, pedophile” in a video he posted on YouTube this week, vowed Tuesday to do “whatever I have to do” to oppose honoring Jackson.

Without mentioning King by name, Jackson Lee noted at the memorial that Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges. She blasted critics who “don’t understand the hearts of entertainers” and “don’t know how they heal the world on behalf of America.”

“We understand the Constitution. We understand laws and we know people are innocent until proven otherwise. That is what the Constitution stands for,” Jackson Lee said, clutching the framed resolution in front of her shiny white suit.

Her legislation, House Resolution 600, lists several charitable acts by Michael Jackson over his long career and proclaims him as an American legend, musical icon and world humanitarian. He is, Jackson Lee said, “someone who will be honored forever and forever and forever and forever and forever.” (Source)

This is why Congress can’t get shit done.  Because they argue over dumb shit like this.  First off, these non-binding resolutions the House and Senate make are completely pointless.  They did the same thing last week with their Iran Resolution.  I thought that one was pretty fucktard stupid and this one is equally asinine.  It doesn’t do or mean anything. To me its a complete waste of time, especially when they have issues like the Gitmo closure, Health Care and the Economy to be debating.  It irks me to no end that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is wasting time and energy with this.  But not to be out done, the GOP is taking it a step further.  Okay, fine…the Congresswoman wants to bring this bullshit before the House body.  Okay, vote ‘Yay’ on the shit and move on to real important issues.  But no…the GOP is actually going to oppose this.  How fucking stupid can you be?  If yesterday proved anything it was that if you bring home 8 soldiers in boxes and noone bats an eyelash, broadcast a funeral for a pop star in a gold casket and people lose their gotdamn minds.  That means when this Resolution actually turns into a debate, its all anyone’s going to talk about.  We don’t have time to be dealing with that.  I don’t think this is something that should be something the House votes on but if someone brought this before me and I was in Congress, I’d vote yes and keep it moving.  Instead, the GOP is going to oppose a measure that in essence does nothing.  No wonder the government can’t get shit done.

Putting the Michael Jackson Coverage and Attention Into Perspective

Posted on 07 July 2009 by Kriss

hypocrisyI want to take a minute to address the Michael Jackson mania that is going on over the country and explain why I think it’s so absurd. People seem to get caught up in their emotions and ignore the realities around them.  I just can’t do that.  Michael Jackson was the World’s Greatest Entertainer.  There’s no doubting that.  However the keyword here is that he was an ENTERTAINER.  His job was to basically distract us from the mundane happenings of the world.  The problem with our society is we’ve elevated the court jester into the prince of the throne.  It’s not just MJ.  We do it with all Rappers, Pop Stars, Athletes, video hoes, etc.  This post here will get more comments and opinions and prompt more discussion than the other posts I’ll do on Afghanistan, the President’s trip to Russia and other real non-entertainment, non-”sexy” news bits.  I have friends that will say they don’t keep up with politics, but can rattle off the latest rumors from TMZ and MediaTakeout (as if those places are legitimate sources…another sign we are in trouble).  I understand that people love the entertainment these people bring but it’s getting to the point where it’s become absurd.  Its reached the point that a lot of people are now addicted to living vicariously through celebrities and they are no different than any other junkie.  Look, I’m an MJ Fan.   I remember when my cousin and I put on white socks, black dress shoes and hiked our pants up to perform Man in the Mirror for the family in my grandparent’s living room. I remember sitting down as a family to watch Michael Jackson’s music video premiers.  I even remember trying (and failing miserably) to moonwalk.  Those were great memories.  But while they were great memories, they have not had a deep impact on my life.  I would be the man I am today without MJ’s music.  It was nice to grow up with it, but my life wasn’t changed by it.  It makes a nice sound bite to say Michael Jackson affected our lives but compared to 8 years of Bush, 2 wars and massive deficits, it isn’t even in the same hemisphere.  Those things take money out of our pockets.  They send our friends and family to foreign countries to fight and possibly get injured and die unnecessarily.  MJ dying, while tragic, does none of that.  To his family, this is a great tragedy and my condolences to them.  But as a fan, I find it kinda silly to even begin to tear up.  I didn’t know the man and my life isn’t affected by his death. The temporary euphoria we feel when we hear Michael’s music is like the morphine given to a burn victim. It doesn’t heal the wounds or hide the scars, just dulls the reality of the pain away.  Michael’s music made us feel good and forget about the troubles of the world, but those issues are still there. When something like this happens we tend to forget about everything else and focus on it in some silly attempt to avoid what’s real in our life.  Well listen, its time to snap back to reality.

The notion that it’s rude or uncaring for people to use Michael Jackson’s death to point how easily we forget important things that affect us all is laughable.  Let’s go back 2 years when another celebrity died.  When Anna Nicole Smith died, many of the same people crying and “in deep mourning” over Michael Jackson now, were saying things like “Why the fuck should we care about her?”  Not only that, but a good deal of us were pointing out how absurd it was that Anna Nicole Smith and all the drama surrounding her was getting around the clock coverage, while Genarlow Wilson was sitting in jail serving 10 years for rape.  Funny thing was Wilson had already been in jail for 1 – 2 years, but it wasn’t until the ridiculous media coverage of Smith that people actually found out about this young man.  So yes, I find it ridiculous and hypocritical that the same people that were bringing up Genarlow Wilson in light of the Anna Nicole Smith media circus are now somehow offended and upset when people bring up the troops, Universal Health Care, Jada Justice and a slew of other REAL important issues during the Michael Jackson frenzy.  Come on folks, just because this time it’s someone we were a fan of doesn’t mean its okay for us to do the same thing we were bitching about others doing 2 years ago.  Time to snap out of the entertainment fantasy world we’ve been dazed in and come back to reality.  Grieve the man but at some point we have to be able to take a step back from the situation and say “Yeah, this is pretty fucked up and becoming ridiculous.”  It’s absurd that the city of Los Angeles is prepping security for hundreds of thousands of fans for the MJ memorial when California is operating without a budget.  California is broke as hell.  Like the auto industry, the State of California asked for a bailout.  The State is paying $53 million worth of bills with IOUs and furloughing its workers.  IOUs.  But they’re still going to pay for a Michael Jackson memorial.  That’s absurd.  But no one cares about that.  That’s how you know we’ve gone too far.  The California taxpayers will be shelling out $3.8 million for 2,000 police officers and other security measures.  Again, the state is $7 billion in debt. Seven BILLION.

This site was created because I said “There’s too much crazy shit going on.”  Well, this is part of that “crazy shit.”  Remember how you felt when white folk were losing their minds over Anna Nicole Smith, Princess Di, Lacey Peterson and the Cable News channels were covering each of those stories endlessly?  I feel the same way now.  I point out hypocrisy and this is one I can’t ignore.  Am I saying you need to donate all your time to the troops, protest the war and know every bill that goes through the Congress?  Of course not.  But if you’re going to get teary eyed over MJ, take off of work for his memorial and claim this is such a huge impact on your life, then you should at least show the same interest in the everyday things that really affect your life.  Otherwise you’re the adult version of a child that can’t read, write or do math…but knows the words and dance moves to the latest Soulja Boy record.   It’s about priorities and while you might not want to admit it, yours are completely fucked up.

IC 93: Shoe Polish…Better Than Rogaine

Posted on 03 July 2009 by Kriss

Happy 4th of July. Kriss and Ryce are in the studio. They talk about some topics that haven’t made the news because of the story of MJ’s death. Things like the Vice President being in Iraq, Saddam’s unclassified interviews released, an Afghanistan offensive, etc. Then the topics move on to the Jackson family and just how bat shit insane they are. Seriously Jermaine, shoe polish?

The BET Awards: Supporting Coonery Means You are a Coon

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Kriss

thedamageoneignorantnegrocando80431

You know the damage one ignorant Negro can do? We were in France in the first war; we’d won decorations. But the white boys had told all them French gals that we had tails. Then they found this ignorant colored soldier, paid him to tie a tail to his ass and run around half-naked, making monkey sounds. Put him on the big round table in the Cafe Napoleon, put a reed in his hand, crown on his head, blanket on his shoulders, and made him eat *bananas* in front of all them Frenchies. Oh, how the white boys danced that night… passed out leaflets with that boy’s picture on it. Called him Moonshine, King of the Monkeys. And when we slit his throat, you know that fool asked us what he had done wrong?

So last night Twitter was inundated with a bunch of tweets about the BET Awards.  As usual, I didn’t watch.  Listen, I’m about to sound real judgmental right now, but honestly, I don’t care.  I didn’t create this site to make friends or hold my tongue.  The webhosting costs are less than permanent Anger Management classes.  In order to keep me from cussing people that do idiotic things out every day, I get to write them down for the whole world to see.  So if the shoe fits…wear that muthafucka proudly…

Here’s what I don’t get and want to start a serious discussion on.  So many of you all hate coonery.  You want the Soulja Boys of the world to disappear.  You hate the negative stereotypes that are associated with you day in and day out.  This is obvious by the number of you that were upset by Mudflap and Skid in the new Transformers 2 movie.  We get mad at white people like Dog the Bounty Hunter or Don Imus or the random white people that do insanely offensive shit.  But then your ass turns around and supports the same coonery you denounce by watching the BET Music Awards.  Honestly, what the FUCK is that about?  If you hate how you have to work twice as hard as a professional African American and hate having to prove to your white coworkers that you’re not one of those dumb, borderline, fresh off the  plantation sounding negros…then why do you support the shit that fuels the stereotype?  It makes no sense to me.

The harsh reality is, and its risky for me to do this when I’m in the middle of trying to be nominated for a Black Weblog Award (but fuck it), Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, T-Pain and his big ass chain, Plies’s retarded 3rd grader sounding ass and all the other artist out there aren’t the coons….YOU ARE.  Yeah they’re the ones in front of the cameras jiving and jigging and making some Jewish guy who doesn’t give 2 shits about them a ton of money but you’re the one who’s giving your money and, more importantly, time to support them.  They are just the waste products of your diet of coonery.  Of course I know you don’t agree with me.  You think I’m tripping.  Well, you’re no different than the house slaves that thought they were different than the field negros outside.  You sit on your couch looking at the ignorant niggas shucking and jiving…little do you know you’re doing exactly what your master wants you to do.  You’re the one that’s in the worse position.  Seriously, T-Pain, Soulja Boy…all of them know they are being pimped by the man.  It’s you that thinks you’re different and are special somehow.  You think that the cops or business owners or your boss don’t see those other ignorant fools and associate them with you.  At least you think that until you get pulled over for “Driving While Black” or you get skipped over for that promotion or your white co-workers designate you as the “Go-to-Person” for all things rap music or criminal related.  Yup, you perpetuate the stereotypes and therefore its YOU that are the biggest part of this problem.  As long as you support this shit, you better believe that you’ll be seeing more stereotypes like Skids and Mudflap in movies.  Sad thing is, just like the Transformers twins, they won’t really be stereotypes.  Because you’ve now supported them into existence.  BET at the end of the day is a company that is about making money.  If coonery didn’t sell, they wouldn’t do it.  But they do.  That’s why even though a good deal of you whill call it coonery and horrible, you all will be watching Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie’s show and Tiny & Toya’s show and the complete ghetto fuckery that will go on there.  And the cycle continues.  Because of YOU.  It’s not BET’s fault they are providing the poison that you readily and eagerly inject into your body.  You have the power to say “Not this time” but just like a strung out crackhead, you’ll be back for more.

Now I’m not saying everything has to be prim and proper with what we do.  Not at all.  But its getting to the point were the balance has been tipped and all we get now is the shit that seems like it’s out of a KKK “Niggers for Dummies” book.  Shit like this kills me.  The same people bitching about how Black History month is too short and how they can’t get any respect are the same ones that sit down in front of the TV to watch the coonery that BET puts out. Maybe you just don’t know what you are doing.  By watching it, you are giving it support, by giving it support you are telling the BET executives that you like it.  Since you like it, they’ll do the same thing year after year after year because they know your dumb ass is going to keep watching it.  Yes, you’re a dumb ass if you watch this shit.  I know you don’t want to hear it and I know you’ll comment with some really dumb ass excuse as to why you do it.  It’s okay, but the truth is…you’re the reason why this shit exists. And don’t think this ends with just BET.  If you claim “Only I normally don’t watch BET” but then you catch every fucked up show VH1 puts out, all you’ve done is just changed plantations.

Oh and for you “I only watched cause Michael Jackson died and I wanted to see the BET tribute.”  Okay, so you believe Michael Jackson is the King of Pop (really there’s no disputing it) and he had unmatched talent.  Did you really think that the station that has done everything possible inthe last 10 years to ruin the image of black people, black music and doesn’t actively promote real talent is going to give a proper tribute to this man?  If you really believe that then you not only are part of the coonery problem but you are also delusional.  This isn’t Donnie Simpson’s BET.  This is the BET that Bob Johnson sold to Viacom, forever making him one of the biggest sellouts in modern Black History.  This BET would struggle to put together an MJ tribute with 6 months of planning and for this show they only had 3 days.  Of course they said they were redoing the whole show to tribute MJ…but you really fell for that bullshit?  A simple check would have told you that artist with actual talent weren’t even in town for the BET Awards.  And you thought you would see a proper MJ tribute?  Come on, you were lying to yourself and you know it.  Expecting BET to put together a good tribute with the talent they support is like asking for the Twin Towers to be rebuilt with LEGOS.  Debra Lee’s eyes lit up when she realized she could convince a bunch of sheep to turn into her shitty ass awards show allowing her to promote her equally coonified fall lineup.  Sad thing is, many of you will turn in to watch that coontastic shit as well.

IC 92: BET – Coonery Lives Here

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Kriss

Kriss is in the studio with a special guest host, Ms. Nola Darling. Kriss starts off talking about the Jehovah’s Witness ambush he experienced and also almost blacking out on a really stupid driver. After that the two cover some stories that were missed because everyone was focused on the death of Michael Jackson. Stories like the cause of the Metro Train crash in Washington DC, Mark Sanford and John Edward’s possible sex tape. Then the topic changes over to the story everyone is still talking about: The death of Pop King Michael Jackson. Kriss has some pretty radical opinions on this that you can’t miss. The show ends with a discussion about the BET Awards that Nola Darling watched and Kriss refused to.

If You Cry for MJ, Cry for Jada

Posted on 26 June 2009 by Kriss

jada_backseat_enlrgHOBART | Authorities believe 2-year-old Jada Justice likely had been killed and encased in concrete in shallow water for three days in LaPorte County by the time she was falsely reported missing.

Investigators believe they discovered the remains of the missing Portage toddler Thursday near rural Otis, Ind. The remains have not been positively identified as those of Jada, but an autopsy is scheduled for today in Lake County.

“We feel very comfortable that we do, in fact, have Jada Justice,” Lake County Prosecutor Bernard Carter said Thursday. He did not elaborate, calling it an active murder investigation.

Charges are expected to be filed today against Jada’s 18-year-old baby-sitter, Engelica Castillo, and Castillo’s boyfriend, Tim Tkachik, sources with knowledge of the case said.

Sources familiar with the case said Castillo and Tkachik were arrested Wednesday night at a rural Porter County residence near Valparaiso and were being held Thursday evening in Lake County. (Source)

I’m trying to be good and limit my MJ assholery today but its hard because of the way people are reacting.  Okay, the world’s Greatest Entertainer just died.  Okay, while sad for the family, MJ lived a full life even though he was only 50.  Hell, MJ lived the lives of most of us, twice.  Young Jada Justice though didn’t.  She was killed at the age of 2.  This is just a reminder to those out there going overboard with the MJ grieving (candle light vigils, excessive crying for a man you never met, feeling sad, etc) that people die every day.  This isn’t a new occurrence.  Maybe its just me, but I take the lost of life of a 2 year old by two idiots harder than I do a man who acted bat shit insane for the last 20 years and died at the age of 50.

I know why this is.  We like to live in a deep state of denial and never truly face the harsh realities that surround us.  Michael Jackson represented the blue pill of the Matix that allowed us to escape real life and dwell in a fantasy world.  Not only did his music entertain us but so did the circus that encased him during the last couple of decades.  His death snaps us back to reality where we don’t have a clown to laugh at but rather are faced with a world where 2 year olds are  murdered and encased in concrete tombs.  Perspective people.  Mourn MJ how your like.  But when the next child goes missing or when your Congressman/woman denounces Universial Health Care…I hope you have the same amount of passion

IC 42: Surviving Wal-Mart

Posted on 15 December 2008 by Kriss

The Korean talks about her trip to New York and how she ended up in the same Wal-Mart that resulted in a man being trampled to death on Black Friday. Bush showed his agility this weekend when he ducked two shoes thrown at him by a disgruntled Iraqi reporter. Rod Blagovejich is still being defiant, the auto bailout failed, oil prices have raised slightly (meaning Dubai will still be able to make their refrigerated beach resort), 70 year old Bernie Madoff is arrested for $50 billion fraud, The Day the Eart Stood Still kinda sucked, Kriss and the Korean try to think of a Nicolas Cage movie that he didn’t cry in, Michael Jackson dresses like a gay Muslim Zorro, Chuck E Cheese leads to adults acting like fools and some dumwit white girls take a bath in a KFC sink.
