Like an Alzheimer’s patient who is forgetful of pass events, I ordered a Boxing Pay Per View fight Saturday night, seemingly forgetting the number of times I’ve been screwed over by boxing. I almost exclusively order only UFC MMA Pay Per View matches now and last night reminded me, yet again, why I made the switch. Normally the UFC hosts an event near the beginning of each month but this month UFC 92 is on the 27th and since I was staying in resting up for my Krav Maga test on Sunday, I figured “What the Hell? De La Hoya vs Pacquiao should be a good fight. Maybe boxing will redeem itself.” Of course I say that every time I drop loot on a boxing PPV and every time I’m disappointed.
