Seriously, Michael Steele is a clown.  I can’t stand this guy, mainly because I know he’s smart enough to know better.  Republicans winning in Virgina was not a surprise.  Republicans winning in New Jersey, kinda sort of a surprise.  But the real story in those two races is that both Governor-elects ran as ‘moderates’.  For Steele to come onto Morning Joe and ignore the fact that he caved to the likes of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and the right-wing extremists to support a candidate in NY-23 is disingenuous.  As Lawrence O’Donnell points out, Steele lead his party to a disastrous night in those congressional races.  Mind you, more attention was paid to NY-23 over the last week AND people were saying that Hoffman was a shoe-in for it.  Its laughable that Steele can “do the Heisman” when it clearly shows that the people in NY-23 didn’t appreciate the RNC coming in and sticking its nose in their business.  It’s okay Steele.  Dance it up for your masters.  The Emperor has no clothes.  But he does have a funny looking mustache and a really annoying habit of trying to be “hip and cool”
