A 44-year-old Maryland woman faces charges of child abuse after police say she gave birth in a portable toilet and dropped the newborn into the waste tank.
After exiting the portable toilet in Long Wharf Park in Cambridge, Candy Vigneri got a cigarette from a construction worker and sat at a picnic table, police Lt. Wayne Bromwell said.
As she sat, a male passer-by approached the toilet but Vigneri warned him, “Don’t go in there, I just had a baby there,” police said.
The man immediately called 911. Vigneri returned to the toilet and retrieved the newborn from the foul liquid at the base of the tank.
The baby was unresponsive and covered with a blue antibacterial chemical agent when emergency responders reached the scene, police said.
Vigneri told officers that she didn’t know she was pregnant.
She was arrested Wednesday on charges of child abuse and reckless endangerment and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
The baby is in stable condition at Easton Memorial Hospital. Dorchester County social services will take control of the newborn after she is released from the hospital. (Source)
The ACLU and super liberals who campaign against the death penalty will say that every life is precious and that “State sponsored murder” is inhumane. Fuck that. When a person demonstrates the complete disregard for another human beings life, particularly a child, I say bring on the death penalty. At least the child survived…this time. SMH

Nope, this one incident will not make me think the death penalty is justice. I personally know someone who was convicted falsely for a murder and sat on death row for 6 years while doing through appeals. It took lawyers in 4 different states and countless resources to even get the state of LA to admit they’d tampered or illegally withheld evidence. Seriously…the dude accused of murder was 15 and had actually played in a video-taped b-ball game for his school while the murder took place. That evidence was conveniently “misplaced” and the DA trying the case just happened to send out subpoenas with the wrong address to the kids and adults who were set to testify as to the the boy playing at the game that night. Yeah…so as long as shit that like happens, then I’m dead set against the death penalty.
But, life in jail will be just fine for this idiot.

Hmmmm. And if she were sitting on a toilet in Planned Parenthood it would be….??????? Hypocratic Oath? Maybe if a doctor helped her it would be ok? She should have delivered up to the neck and stuck surgical tools in the babies neck…partial birth abortin is ok, but you’d have to pay someone to do it for you in order for it be legal. HMMMM. But this gets pro-aborts all rallied up for child abuse? Death penalty?

Who said anything about partial birth abortions?
