Kriss and Dylan are back in the studio. Kriss mentions that the Black Weblog Awards have opened up nominations. We’re trying to go for a repeat of last year’s results where the Insanity Check won Best Podcast By Popular vote. Click here for instructions on how you can vote for us. After the cheap plug, Kriss and Dylan go into a serious discussion about how people are supporting the Iran protesters like it’s some kind of fad. A good point is made that people seem to be able to show support online for the protesters half a world away…but don’t do the same when it comes to important domestic issues like Universal Health Care. Kriss and Dylan also get on the media for going overboard with stupid stuff…like CNN’s “magic wall” and “holograms”. The show ends with Kriss and Dylan discussing some deal breakers that happen when a man is dealing with a woman.
There’s a problem with getting the show on iTunes for new subscribers. If you already get the show on iTunes you’re fine but if you’re looking to find us in the iTunes store it’ll probably be a couple of weeks until we’re back up and running. You can manually add us to iTunes by going to Advanced->Subscribe to Podcast and then add this url. We’re looking for writers for TheInsanityReport.com and guests for the Insanity Check Podcast. If you are interested, email us at InsanityCheck@theInsanityReport.com. Also hit us up if you’re good with graphic designs or music production (we’re looking for a new opening for the podcast).
