WTF Wednesday: Democrats Trying Their Best to Lose in 2008

Posted on 27 August 2008 by Kriss

Can someone explain to me how you have an incumbent President with an approval rating between shitty (lower 30 percent) and extremely shitty (upper 20 percent) and a Vice President sitting at 18%…and none of the primetime speakers at your Democratic Convention mention them or the man nominated for the republican party to continue on their failed policies?  I really not feeling this whole “Unity” theme.  If the handful (and it’s really a handful people…I don’t care what the polls say) of Hillary Clinton supporters don’t want to support Barack Obama and they are still salty…fuck them.  They can join the rest of us at the adult table when they grow the fuck up.  This Unity/Woodstock/Hippy lovefest they got going on in Denver is pissing me off.  You think the Republicans next week are going to be preaching bipartisanship and healing the country?  Fuck no.  They have the audacity to give speaking portions to the worse Presidential and Vice Presidential tandem in modern history.  And the democrats aren’t jumping on that like a rabid pitbull jumping on retarded one-legged rabbit?  What the hell is wrong with them?  It’s like it’s 2000 and 2004 all over again.  Wake the fuck up people…get to it…WTF

I need Carly Simon to rewrite her song to say “You’re So Vain/You probably think this Convention is about you”.  I want it to be Hillary Clinton’s theme music from here on out.  I’m watching her speech and I’m hearing too much about her and not enough about Barack Obama.  Yes, I know people had their expectations set so low that the speech last night probably came off as great last night.  But it wasn’t.  What happened to the “fighter”, the one that didn’t hold her tongue when talking about a fellow democrat?  She scathed Obama more in the primaries than she has John McCain.  Her speech at the Convention last night was “okay” at best.  Maybe it’s just me.  It’s probably why I can never run for office.  When someone’s being a bitter bitch (Hillary, her husband and her supporters) I don’t feel that it’s my job to make them feel better.  You lost, and you lost in a way that is now being used to attack Barack Obama.  Is this what America has become?  We’ve begun to give concessions to the losers?  Get the fuck outta here.  Here’s what she should have said:

“I know I said that I didn’t believe Senator Obama had the experience, but I was wrong.  I KNOW Senator Obama has the experience and the only thing John McCain seems to have experience with is following lockstep behind President Bush.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I have a really good memory.  I remember when Hillary came out and said (twice) that “I have a lifetime of experience, John McCain has a lifetime of experience and Barack Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.”  I remember when asked if Obama was a Muslim, Clinton responded “Not as far as I know”, I remember “Shame on YOU Barack Obama”, I remember the “3 AM ad”, I remember Bill Clinton’s half hearted “endorsement” and the “No one is really ready to be commander and chief”, I remember that memo that came out saying those in the Clinton camp wanted her to use republican tactics to dirty up Barack Obama, I remember the disgusting push her supporters in Congress made and that Coon ass negro Bob Johnson to pressure Obama to pick her for VP and last and certainly not least (or even the end of the list) I see all her bitter ass supporters who would much rather see 4 more years of the same failed politics than grow the fuck up and get over it.  So no…in my opinion her speech didn’t do what it was supposed to do.  Too much about her and not enough about Barack Obama…WTF

Last night Hillary Clinton Delegate Ann Price Mills made me what to go against my longstanding belief in not harming a woman by making me want to stab her in her uterus to make sure she couldn’t spread her stupidity gene to any offspring.  She was damn near in tears saying that while she wouldn’t vote for McCain, she didn’t know if she would vote at all because “experience matters.” She seems to have forgotten that when women were granted the right to vote, her black grandmother still wouldn’t have been able to.  See, people seem to forget that the 19th Amendment didn’t give women the right to vote.  It gave WHITE women the right to vote…WTF

And another thing.  You want to talk about resumes?  Clinton’s call to fame is having her Health Care reform FAIL when she was First Lady.  Her experience didn’t teach her to read the National Intelligence Estimate BEFORE voting to authorize the war.  Her experience didn’t even teach her that calmly walking across a tarmac with your daughter to a little girl with flowers and a card isn’t the same as ducking sniper fire.  Then on top of all that she hires a guy in Mark Penn to run her campaign and this guy doesn’t even understand that the states in primaries aren’t “winner take all”.  She got beat by the underdog and you think her experience is BETTER????  Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.  This entitlement crap that Clinton supporters are pulling right now is deplorable.  If African Americans were saying "It’s a black man’s turn" we’d be treated like militants…but this super feminist do it and it’s "feminism"…WTF

North Korea Suspends Nuclear Reactor Disablement
Again, this is why I have a problem with this Democratic National Convention.  The Democrats should be foaming at the mouth with this information.  Bush/McCain are doing all this tough talk about Iran and the POSSIBILITY that they have nuclear CAPABILITIES…and here we have North Korea that has NUCLEAR REACTORS that they’ve stop dismantling.   Kim Jong Il is basically giving the Bush Administration the finger and they aren’t doing shit about it.  Yet people in this country trust the republicans with foreign policy?  Get the fuck outta here.  Democrats need to hammer this shit home with the average stupid American at home so they understand…WTF

Why the hell is Cindy McCain going to Georgia?  First off, I wonder how they broke it to her that she wouldn’t be able to swing by Atlanta for some shopping.  No really, what the hell is this shit?  Obama went overseas as a Presidential candidate and was called “presumptuous.”  John McCain is sending his wife (after “dispatching” some senators as Ambassadors) and no one is mentioning how the McCain’s are acting like they have this in the bag?  What is Cindy going to do over there?  Give the Georgian refugees some cooking tips that she stole from Rachael Ray?  Oh I get it.  She’s the “beer heiress”.  She’s taking over some beer so that Georgians can drown away their sorrows…cause we all know…nothing helps you deal with a Russian invasion that had decimated your town like a tall glass of beer.  Seriously though, think about this.  McCain has Secret Service detail now…so that naturally extends out to the family.  So Cindy’s little trip out to Georgia means the Secret Service go…which means your tax dollars are being used to protect her druggie ass.  Wonderful…WTF

Tom Brokaw is an idiot.  I’m sorry but he is.  He’s saying that MSNBC’s Chris Mattthews and Keith Olberman have “gone too far” in their commentary.  This old ass dude is still pissed cause Matthews and Olberman realized what any normal human being could, which was that Hillary Clinton after losing those 14 states in a row and mathematically couldn’t make up the delegate count, should have gotten out of the race.  I think that’s responsible reporting if you ask me.  Why should they have listened to the Clinton talking points when it was clear it wasn’t going to happen?  Her staying in the race only hurt the party as a whole (which is clear when you see that McCain has run 4 Clinton ads in the last 2 days).  You know what Tom…before you criticize someone else…I also think you need to make sure you’re clean.  What’s up with you buying into this whole “the surge worked” bullshit?  Is that responsible reporting Tom?  Didn’t think so…WTF

So a few months ago Lara Logan was on the Daily Show and basically shitted on the American media’s performance.  I happened to agree.  So this dude Jon Friedman writes this article “10 Reasons why Lara Logan Shouldn’t Snub TV News”.  The problem is, in his article he lists Neil Cavuto (Fox News), Tavis Smiley, Jon Stewart , Stephen Colbert and “Extra” as some of those reasons.  Okay, you have a Fox News idiot, a sour grapes black guy, 2 comedians and a show that “personifies America’s trash-TV movement” (in his own words).  You idiot…you made her point for her.  Listing ANYONE from Fox News automatically gets you the stink face.  Tavis is good, but his hate of Obama is so strong you don’t need training by Yoda to sense it.  I love Stewart and Colbert but the fact that you have to add two comedians to your list of what’s good about America’s media is counterintuitive.  And “Extra”…well…do I really need to say anything?…WTF

Kid Too Good of a Pitcher
I read this story and I can’t help but think that the other kids and parents in this story are white.  If a white kid was throwing 40 mph pitches at 9 years old, he’d be a fucking hero.  But a black kid?  Oh no…can’t let that happen.  This story is so ridiculous I find it hard to believe.  This kid was really told he was TOO GOOD OF A PITCHER.  What kind of message does this send to our kids?  Don’t reach for the stars…cause if you are too good it’s not fair to the others.  If the other players are too good…just quit?  What if Tiger Woods was told he was too good to play in the PGA anymore?  Or the USA Basketball team after dominating the other teams this year is told they can’t play anymore cause they are too good?  This country is sickening sometimes…WTF

Now I leave you on a good note.  Normally I find the PUMA’s (those bitter Clinton supporters) disgusting.  But the following videos are so funny they should brighten up your day.  Enjoy:

When you can’t even get Fox News to really take you seriously…you have issues.

Chuck Todd “Maybe we are over hyping these people”

Chris Matthews getting in that ass
I find this video hilarious because dude is lying through his teeth.  Hillary still owes $13 million.  If they raised 6 – 10 million like he claims, that debt would be almost gone.  They are so transparently wrong that it’s funny.

  2. Anonymous Says:

You totally stole that line from Chuck Todd- LOVE IT!!!! LOL

  3. Kriss Says:

LOL…funny thing is…I thought about it right when I flipped to MSNBC and Chuck Todd was saying it.

Man I was at work and had to catch myself I was laughing so hard when I read it. I do think however that ppl thought Hillary was going to make it all about her, which I don’t really think she did… she played her part- halfheartedly, but she played her part lol.

PS- catch how they kept showing Michelle Obama every few phrases to catch her reactions to Hillary’s speech?

  5. Kriss Says:

Michelle had the "I wish a bitch would…" look

  6. Anonymous Says:

She sure did!!!! But did anyone catch CNN last night and how they interviewed some random Black woman who happened to be a Hillary supporter? She said that although she wasn’t going to vote for McCain in November, that she wasn’t sure if she was going to vote for Barack either…I need the ladies to get past this ‘women v. men’ ideology…this is so much bigger than that!

  7. Anonymous Says:

Politics is synonymous with religion. People don’t THINK about politics, they BELIEVE in politics. People don’t logically pick candidates, they emotionally pick candidates and then rationalize their decisions.

Everybody likes to pretend that they pick candidates for logical reasons, but the reality is that it rarely happens. Those Hillary supporters that would rather NOT vote instead of voting for Obama make ABSOLUTELY no sense…logically, but make all the sense in the world emotionally. The whole "experience is important" business from that one supporter is wholly nonsensical, but it keeps her emotionally warm at night.

Granted, I said in the primary that if Clinton won (let me see if I can quote myself) "I would never vote for that bitch." But truthfully, voting for McCain was never an option. I would have gone a third party…and honestly, by the time I got in the booth, the thought of 4 years of John McCain would have made me suck it up and vote for Clinton. We all get emotional but I’m sick of people using emotion to make serious decisions. It’s great to be passionate but at some point they need to grow the fuck up and start acting like adults.

If Obama loses and they think Clinton will be winning 2012…they have another thing coming for them.

  9. Solo Says:

Dude…my response to your post is just all around the now infamous ‘No Bitchassness’ idea. I have said it before and I will say it again…there is a strong push to pussify this damn country in the name of fairness.

Hillary’s speech – I am glad to hear what I heard. I wish she could have bashed the republicans more but she only had a few minutes and couldn’t possibly cover everything. She did enough of EVERYTHING (just enough)…praise obamas, bidens, hate on mccain, hate on bush, hate on republicans, say wassup to Bill, not lose her self pride, praise obama, addresses the fucking PUMAs (I can’t believe I just repeated this silly as word). She did it all. If she did anymore praises of obama, she would have been a fake, lying broad (although she is), I wasn’t interested in seeing it.

Not attacking the republicans or mccain harder is not a Hillary issue…its a bigger DNC issue. The DNC = Bitchassness and if they are not careful, the silly uneducated and assuming citizens of this country who believe that obama is a muslim and related to Ghandi will sway the election in the republicans favor. DNC need to stop having a damn barney love fest and fight a battle.

Americans (especially the media) who are even entertaining the idea of PUMAs (AAAHHHHH) are only promoting BITCHASSNESS even more. These ppl should get no attention like a child crying in a grocery store and they will all go away. The more attention they get, the louder they ll get. So in essense by talking about it, we are contributing to the BITCHIFICATION of the U.S.

  10. Kriss Says:

All I want to know Jay is…what’s up with those guest posts??? lol

  11. Anonymous Says:

I will do my best to work on a guest post tonight…I will need a category for it though. We ll talk about that later.

  12. solo Says:

Delegate Ann Mills? What are the qualifications for being a delegate again? Shouldn’t you be able to think logically? Defend your position? Especially if you are going to represent some people in your community. GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE! How are you a delegate if you can’t do any of these things….we give people power based on soft qualifications and trying to fair/even with distribution of justice. FUCK THAT! Give people that can think and have a damn brain.

Just like, you should have to pass a damn test to be ABLE to vote. You probably have more ILLEGAL immigrants in this country than citizens that are capable of making wiser decisions. But yea…we have to be fair and balanced.

How can you be too good at something and be punished for it…oh yea lets be fair to the damn softies. The same idea that is driving the DNC and their bitchassness is going on here….lets all unify even though this is a damn competition.

PUMA? Are you fucking serious? Fox News and anyone else talking about these sore losing cry babies are promoting BITCHASSNESS! Chuck Todd…thanks for trying to (UN) Promote this ideology.

If I was Hillary and PUMA somehow raised 6-10 million dollars for me, I would have dedicated half of my speech at the DNC to these fools. The fact that you happened to raise that much money and didn’t get any recognition means that you either are lying through your teeth OR she could care less if you exist….take your money and wipe her ass with it. Either way…STOP THE BITCHASSNESS!

    Aight I m done….I think…well for now

  13. Chris A. Says:

I really think a lot of these Hillary supporters are either gays or feminists… sore, attention-needing, losers.

  14. MJB Says:

I saw the headline about the kid pitcher and I was too blown.  And they told the women’s olympic softball team they were too good and got rid of it in 2012.  So basically there are pussies everywhere.

  15. TBC Says:

omg – why was I just wondering why Cindy Mccain is going to Georgia! wtf! She’ll probably try and sneak away with some of the injured soldiers Vicadin.  okay, that was wrong, but forreal – what will she do.

AND Anne Price-Mills….. wtf. When I saw her after Hillary’s speech, I almost got in my car and drove to Denver… wow – what a woman.
